Got Questions???
- What should I bring?
FOOD - - Because it upsets the digestive system to switch food, and in order to keep your pet's stay as normal as possible, we ask you bring enough food for the length of your pets stay, plus 3 days extra just in case.
MEDICATIONS/SUPPLEMENTS - If your pet is on any type of daily medication, or supplements such as joint chews, fish oil, ect. be sure to bring it in a container with its name, dosage, and frequency on the label. Insulin shots are no problem. We will be happy to administer any meds at no extra charge. Also keep in mind that if your dog's heartworm or flea medication dosage day coincides with their stay here, to bring that along as well.
PROOF OF VACCINATIONS - Dogs must have current proof of vaccinations for Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella. Your vet can provide you with a printout to bring with you. Cats must have proof of vaccinations for Rabies and FVRCP. All vaccinations should be administered no later than 72 hrs. prior to boarding. For the health of your pet and the other pets boarding, we cannot board your pet without proof of these vaccinations.
FAVORITE TOY - Got a favorite ball or stuffed animal he/she can't live without?
All Creatures Kennel cannot be responsible for items lost or destroyed.
TREATS - Rawhides, pigs ears, ect. to chew on during their stay.
We provide your pet with blankets and raised beds, so please refrain from bringing your pet's beds or blankets along, unless they are on year-round flea prevention such as Frontline, Comfortis, or Trifexis. We will also supply the food and water bowls.
Please bring your dog(s) on a leash, and your cat(s) in a carrier. Thanks.
Our hours are from 8:00am until 7:30pm every day including weekends and holidays. Exceptions may be made if 8am-7:30pm does not work for you.
We will be closed from 3:00 to 4:00 every weekday during the school year so that I may get my kids from school.
If you could give me a preferred time for dropping off and picking up, it helps me plan my day.
What are your rates?
Please refer to our "Boarding Rates" page for our rates.
What if my pet becomes ill or injured?
You will be contacted immediately. We will proceed as you advise. If vet care is required for your pet we will take them to our local Veterinarian for treatment. Any charges incurred in the treatment are your responsiblity, while prompt and proper care of your pet is, of course, our responsibility.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes we do. However, there will be a 3% charge added.
We also accept Venmo as well.
Do you do any grooming?
Although I DO NOT do any haircuts, I can do baths, which include nail trimming, anal gland expression, ear cleaning, shampoo and conditioner. Prices are based on dog size, hair length, and coat condition. Just ask for it when you drop off your dog, and I will be happy to get them cleaned up for you!
Why should I board my pets with you rather than another kennel?
Here at All Creatures Kennel, we are an exception to the "average" kennel - we actually take your dog for walks 3 times a day so they can stretch their legs and relieve themselves how they normally would at home. Dogs that stay at other kennels may have a concrete slab as their only option for relieving themselves which may be stressful for house-trained dogs. Your dogs will also get the opportunity to play with other dogs in our play yard, if they enjoy doing so. If your dog loves water, they'll have the chance to swim in our duck pond. Other kennels in the area do not offer such fun activites, so bring your dog over to play!
